The Mac-Daddy Hits the Skidds

Post by Dr Exile » Wed Nov 30, 2011 1:25 am

President Obama's slow ride down Gallup's daily presidential job approval index has finally passed below Jimmy Carter, earning Obama the worst job approval rating of any president at this stage of his term in modern political history.

Little wonder. He promised me pink flying unicorns, rainbow powered love bugs, and a money tree in my back yard. Where's my stuff you false Messiah?

He's a let down, without a doubt. But, he's no worse than McCain.

I don't feel anything towards politicians because it's meaningless to even give it one ounce of energy in thinking about it. It's a bunch of shaved monkeys wearing penguin suits arguing about the same shit over and over and over... and if we weren't so used to shaved monkeys wearing penguin suits, we might come upon the sight having not known it before, and truly we would say "What the fuck is this shit?!"

Yes he did inherit both the economic disaster and the wars from Dumbya and his gang of Reptilicams. Stoopid people have short memories.

Well, that's the whole deal right there. We had Bush who sucked harder than a pool's filtration system and he played a huge part in wrecking the economy and the political capital the US had around the world. Then we have a choice between Obama and a sell out who we know is going to mostly do the same thing as the suck ass we were just getting rid of.

Obama is a let down but I don't blame him for a lot of things he's being blamed for. I blame him for not sacking up and sticking to his supposed principles.

He also is a shitty negotiator.

Why do the republicans lie and deny that fact that their guy Bush caused this mess that they are unwilling to fix.

Seems their belief is they are entitled to what they want at other's expense.

I just had a "talk" with a republican buddy. He asked

"Why must they link a payroll tax cut with a tax on high income earners and S corporations? Kind of defeat the purpose of cutting payroll taxes no?"

I said nope. This lead into a long discussion about corps and government... where I eventually said...

"I can't understand that about modern day conservatives. They act like they're patriots and always talk about protecting the Republic but have no faith in Democracy."

Many Republicans make little sense to me anymore.
