What happens when the babies can't hear the sounds of christmas bells anymore?

What happens then?

What happens if some genetic disorder spreads through the population and within 100 years all babies are born deaf?

By then we won't need to talk because we will be able to read each others minds.

The elders will remember what the bells sounded like and they will think bell noises and the babies will say in their minds "wow, what is that" and the elders will say that is the sound of christmas bells.

Or something like that :D

Fuck 'em. Then they can feel the bells......like Quasimodo.
