I was reading some latin poetry from the medieval ages, circa 500 CE - it was a lament of what war had done, the fields left untended as the men took up arms, fear of death at the hands of the enemy soldiers, being hungry.
The times haven't changed much - we haven't changed much. These things are not new and I think, as much as I don't like to say it, will never change until we begin right here...in you and me, not out there.
