North Korea to the US- "If you want us to stop testing, you need to supply us with __X__ number of grain"
Religion to the People- "If you want to go to heaven, you need to give your life to __X__"
Christopher Hitchens is the point man to go for these issues. Christopher Eric Hitchens (13 April 1949 – 15 December 2011) was a British-American[7][8] author and journalist whose career spanned more than four decades.[9] Hitchens, often referred to colloquially as "Hitch",[10] contributed to New Statesman, The Nation, The Atlantic, The London Review of Books, The Times Literary Supplement, Slate Magazine, and Vanity Fair. He was an author of twelve books and five collections of essays, and concentrated on a range of subjects, including politics, literature and religion.

When Dennis Rodman played professional basketball, he was called “The Worm” for his rebounding prowess. But Rodman’s clashes with referees and wild off-court antics earned him another, less endearing nickname: Dennis the Menace.
And that’s what critics are calling him again, now that the former Detroit Pistons star has wormed himself into American foreign affairs. Rodman recently accompanied a TV crew and three Harlem Globetrotters to North Korea, where he attended a basketball game with the nation’s young dictator, Kim Jong Un. Afterwards, Rodman pronounced him “awesome" and “a good guy”-- and urged President Obama to call Kim.
Rodman’s remarks generated mirth as well as outrage on the Internet, which lit up with pictures of Rodman sitting alongside Kim Jong Un. Believe it or not, though, Rodman’s trip could actually lead to better relations between North Korea and the United States. Indeed, it's hard to see how they could get much worse.

To other critics, however, Rodman’s latest escapade was no joke. Stern led the way, condemning Rodman for cozying up to a dictator who is “starving his own people.” Secretary of State John Kerry was more circumspect, but left no doubt about his own disdain. “Dennis Rodman is a great basketball player,” Kerry said. “And as a diplomat, he is a great basketball player. And that’s where we’ll leave it.”

would Kim bomb Seoul if he thought Michael Jordan and the 90's basketball stars were in South Korea? How can stars be used for intelligence gathering?

Amnesty International reports that "the security forces in Argentina first started using "death squads" in late 1973. One example was Alianza Anticomunista Argentina, a far-right death squad mainly active during the "Dirty War". By the time military rule ended in 1983 some 1,500 people had been killed directly by "death squads", and over 9,000 named people and many more undocumented victims had been "disappeared"—kidnapped and murdered secretly—according to the officially appointed National Commission on Disappeared People (CONADEP).[33]
It will be interesting to see what role the new pope played in that struggle.

Bergoglio's legacy as cardinal includes his efforts to repair the reputation of a church that lost many followers by failing to openly challenge Argentina's murderous 1976-83 dictatorship. He also worked to recover the church's traditional political influence in society, but his outspoken criticism of President Cristina Kirchner couldn't stop her from imposing socially liberal measures that are anathema to the church, from gay marriage and adoption to free contraceptives for all.

As 115 cardinals prepare to elect a new Pope, the Vatican faced fresh embarrassment over claims that one of its key departments shares a building in Rome that hosts Italy's biggest gay sauna.

The historic palazzo is the headquarters of the Congregation for the Evangelisation of Peoples, which was founded in 1622 and is responsible for missionary activities. The building provides accommodation for about 15 priests.
But the imposing stone mansion also contains the Europa Multiclub Sauna and Gym, which claims on its website that it is "the number one gay sauna in Italy".
The Vatican paid a hugely inflated price for around 20 apartments in the building when it was acquired in 2008, La Repubblica newspaper claimed in a front page report on Monday.
The apartments were bought for nine million euros on May 30 2008 by a property company which later that day sold them to the Vatican for 20 million euros, making an instant profit of 11 million euros, the daily claimed.
