This can even go in reverse for LA. for any new flood or EQ proofing.

But I cna tell you Raider gamblers are the most risky. Which is why it make sense to move to LV. A win ,win. Hint.

Hard to believe SD lost the Chargers. It's hard to think of them elsewhere.

Here's the run down...

The consensus is San Diego loves the Chargers but has disdain for the ownership. The citizenry is also smart enough not to be taxed to fund a new stadium on something that can be funded by the ownership and the NFL themselves. Similar to the issue of a bailout package. There's also questionable decisions made my the management regarding coaching, player trades, and releases.

There's a lot of criticism about San Diego not showing support for their home team. This is grossly false. There are a few factors why San Diego fans do not show up to games.

1) The expensive tickets, drinks, and parking at the stadium. Why the fuck will we show up for nose bleed seats when we can go to our favorite beach bar, hipster bar, BBQ restaurant, pizza restaurants, brewery and enjoy comfortable seating, personal space, affordable food & drinks, and free parking. We are in beautiful San Diego.

This doesn't even include the tons of house parties near the beach either. No tickets required to enjoy the game with tons of friends and walk around bar to bar, or party to party. We are not looking forward to waiting in traffic in or out of the sporting event.

The fan turnout is an economic driver for local businesses on Sundays. As a long-time fan, I have seen more Charger merchandise on the streets than ever before. But, this rapidly changed with the move to LA of course.

2) Everyone in the country loves San Diego is here for work or leisure. The town is full of people from other places mostly escaping the cold, humidity, or where nothing happens. The city is home to refugees from shitty parts of the country, and they love attending football or baseball games. Additionally, people around the country plan their vacations to see their favorite professional or college team play here. This causes huge visitor fan turnout and the stadium acts like a home stadium for some popular teams. If you want home team fans to show, lower the prices for home fans faggots, cause the trickle down economy is still not working.

Aftermath of Move
The fans treated the Charger move like a bad breakup with a person. They were angry at first and now willing to be friends (they still watch sometimes). I seen friends turn to their second favorite teams to watch or become more engaged with games involving their fantasy football players. More attention is on the San Diego State football team who leads the Mountain West conference.

I have talked to some fans that are willing to make a trip to enjoy a game in LA. But the majority of the baby boomer generation and beach bunnies are not in a rush to get into smog and traffic (at least 2hrs without traffic to and from site). There are many people working and living in LA that are born and raised in San Diego. The owner's move provides an exciting opportunity for them to see their new team.

Some Day
There is a resounding feeling that in due time we will have some kind of winning team someday. For those that don't know San Diego's professional sports championship history, here is a short outline:

1) Chargers - Superbowl Appearance in 95, (94 season). Whooped by a high caliber SF team.

Won AFL championship in 1963 (pre-NFL days).

On the last week of the 1963 season, eight Chargers scored, and Paul Lowe rushed for 183 yards scoring two touchdowns on 17 carries as the Chargers clinched the AFL West title with a 58-20 victory over Denver. The season ended a week later than scheduled after AFL postponed the games for the weekend following the assassination of President John F. Kennedy on November 22. They won their only AFL title in 1963 when they beat the Boston Patriots 51–10 before 30,127 fans at Balboa Stadium in San Diego, when Keith Lincoln accounted for 349 yards of total offense. As of 2016, this was the last major professional sports championship for the city of San Diego.

2) Padres - World Series appearances in 1984 and 1998. No wins.

3) No professional basketball, hockey, etc... We had the Clippers but they moved to LA.

In 1978, San Diego welcomed the relocation of the Buffalo Braves franchise because the city had lost their Rockets to Houston seven years earlier. San Diego team officials did not think Braves was a representative nickname for the club and a contest decided on "Clippers," because the city was known for the great sailing ships that passed through San Diego Bay. When the Clippers moved to Los Angeles in 1984, they kept their nickname.

The NBA, suing the Clippers for $25 million because the team made the move to Los Angeles without league permission, is asking a federal court to determine if the league has the right to dissolve the franchise. It is possible that heavy financial losses by the franchise could become a part of the NBA's case against the Clippers.

Conclusion
The lack of wins and disappointments humble the fans of San Diego who enjoy the fine weather and relatively clean environment conditions. We have become use to the jokes at parties regarding the teams and has become part of our character.

We don't care, we are #1 in fun.

The cantankerous baby boomer sorcerers and gossip covens are all wishing the Chargers back. Many conspiracy theories are being created on how they will come back or new professional teams to be created. I personally think a new sport is on the horizon.
