The local stores have been serving a lot of customers. Victoria people had to shop farther north. A few from Houston. Gas sells out quickly.

I'm thinking that regions supply chain have changed a bit.

The fence I built in 2012 is still standing despite Harvey. Pretty good work it seems.

Could keep raptors out with that fencing. Looks well built.

Is it elevated for floods, animals, or you didn't want to see neighbors?

Someone claiming a degree in civil engineering suggested that had everyone opened their gates then the houses would not have flooded.

Dude, your house flooded because it was lower then the bayou water that topped the bank.

Using that logic, wouldn't closing the house doors have stopped the water from entering.
