I doubt this'll go off.
Containment is in effect.

Containment really? Can you really stop the fungus from going through your tube sock?

Yeah with Iodine or Black Salve.
Re: Russia and Syria
WHy doesn't Assad or it's supporters just say that if it's true?
He doesn't, because he would rather drop bombs on cities or shoot protesters to gain support then wage a information battle.
FOr example, after gassing his people he says "It's illogical". Well, illogical for him, but not for any of his commanders that are paid to drive out rebels.
Little or no mention of "We will find who did it and we are sending aid" only a message of being "not responsible".
How did he get to this point unless their is something fucked up with his political party? They are either stupid and/or corrupt. So there is an existing gas line? WHy is he moving on someone elses territory? Isn't that like Walmart moving into a neighborhood?
I know full well of the USA propaganda machine but I'm not going to fall into another one either. Most people need to know that just because information is anti-US it doesn't make it true.

Defected woman general trains Syria's rebels
Zubaida al-Meeki was the first female officer to quit President Bashar al-Assad's forces to join the Free Syrian Army.

In a revolution that has become associated with masculine bravado and gunfights in the streets, Zubaida al-Meeki stands out.
A former Syrian army general, she became the first female officer to publicly announce her defection from President Bashar al-Assad's army after seeing what she describes as "crimes and atrocities committed by the regime".
...
Source of inspiration
Al-Meeki believed in the uprising from its first day in March last year, she says, contending that sectarianism is used to distract people from the reality of a popular uprising. "The revolution gave dignity to the Syrian people and gave minorities a sense of belonging to one country. All of the sects in Syria have suffered so much under this regime," she says.
"When the regime shells towns, the shells do not discriminate between a sect and the other."

Unless we are tuned into the middle east sources, we may never hear something along those lines. Western reporting will report what they want you to hear. I no longer believe most of what is said. Propaganda and lies are the mainstay. Shameful but that is what government has become.Little or no mention of "We will find who did it and we are sending aid" only a message of being "not responsible".
Look at everything being stated then find what isn't. That is where the truth will be.
Re: Russia and Syria
This is an If..Then logic problem.
If Government repeatedly uses chemical weapons --> International Response
I wouldn't want to live in a world where Governments get away with that.
It will be interesting to see what intel they present to congress and the people.
Wondering if Russia feels obligated to use the Syria port for defense. Music would turn up a bit.
