Geezer Greetings

Post by Professor Geezer » Tue Jun 14, 2011 2:17 am

My niece Ash and her husband have been nagging me to join this forum. The last one left a bad taste in my mouth but I'm willing to try again.

There are a few here I remember, one nut job in particular I was quite fond of. He suffered from multiple personalities, but his saving grace was a PHD from Berkley in philosophy. I see his medication has helped, as there are now only two of him. ;)

I was born in 1916 in Kentucky. I graduated from Transylvania University in 1941 and went on to the University of Kentucky. I started teaching at Berea College in 1944 and taught history and theology there until I retired in 1984.

Now I'm just a blithe spirit in an old house full of books.

Hahahaha!!! Welcome, Geezer.

Why'd the other place leave a bad taste in your mouth?

Welcome Professor Geezer, I have heard so much about you from Martian Exile and the one that suffers multiple personalities :D

I sure hope this Forum doesn't leave a bad taste in your mouth and sincerely look forward to your input here.

If you are 95 you are just 5 years away from celebrating a century of life, I bet you have a lot of interesting stories to tell and I can hardly wait to hear them!

I think I may have accused him of being a sock actually thanks to marvin, if that's the case I apologize.

If I could get any animal it would be a dolphin. I want one bad. Me and my mom went swimming with dolphins. I was like, 'How do we get one of those?' and she was like, 'You can't get a dolphin. What are you gonna do, put it in your pool?' Miley Cyrus
