Re: Explosions in governmnet buildings in Oslo Norway.
I'm a bit bemused by all of this continuing animus towards the dollhouse. It may not be your cup o' tea, but so? At the end of the day it's just another forum. It has, at this point, just 90 members. Included among them are some of the most interesting Amkon commentators. And almost all of those posters have no issue with posting on both sites. What's missing there is not an element of drama but rather some of the vilest currents here- racism, sexism, homophobia and knee-jerk Reptilicanism. Is that such a bad thing?

This has been said many times over...... once people get their minds set no words will ever change those minds.

Sadly, there are only a few that seem bitter and when someone from TD posts, they are pounced on ....... it is so childish, I am at the point of not wanting to play the game anymore. I will still read, but the fear of being pounced on has prevented me in giving input now.

I guess I never really understood the roll of a troll and the reason behind it, I am kind of thinking it has something to do with "anger issues".

The thing that attracted me to Amkon was the humour of the people posting there along with the interesting subjects that were brought up.

Much of the humour is gone now, or at least the kind of things I find as funny. Racism, sexism and homophobia isn't really on my iLaugh list.

Actually...at moments it's fun to play with children.

Penny had me lol'ing last night.

I know I shouldn't enjoy tweaking the knuckle heads.....but it's fun sometimes.

It's almost completely predictable.....like Anarch's spelling.

But I'm thankful to be able to escape and post here....too much amkon isn't good for the soul

At some point in time homophobia and racial bigotry became acceptable at Amkon with endless humorless and hateful ''nigger' threads and 'fuckhole' rants. And while such nonsense accords with free expression it doesn't exactly elevate the discourse. I'm very happy with the pigeon's experiment in filtering out those sorts of posters. Who needs it?

It's also worth noting that there exists here a certain tenor civility wherein flaming lefties like me and paleo libertarians like MurPopsicle can hang out in the parlor and happily argue with resort to a bare minimum of fuck yous. That is a rare pleasure. Hahahaha

MrP.... I watched that yesterday, the funniest thing I was seeing, is that you were having fun, others were being serious.

I was surprised that it wasn't noticed by anyone that you were just having fun until Mur came along.

Hahahahaha.... that must have been a good spliff you had ;)

It's cathartic to yank some chains from time to time.

And skunk, you're a pretty reasonable guy, I like you.....don't take anything I say on Amk0n personal. You aren't by any chance my cousin Eddie are you?
