Format is [ url= thenthelinkUrl ] the word [ / url ]

Leave the out the spaces in the tags.

whaaaa? I don't understand. What I mean is- how would I hyperlink the word 'whaaa' to a copied URL on my clipboard?

You would click the URL bbcode in the box above the text entry area.

[url][/url]

Put an = after the first 'url' and press ctl-v or whatever the paste command is on your computer/pad.

Between the tags, place the text

Code: Select all


[url=http://thelink]Whaaa[/url]

Be sure the URL is current in the clipboard, It would be if you just did a 'copy link location'.

Apple might use something like command-c, command-v for copy/paste.

Any way to simplify to the way it works on the other board? A simple highlight of the word or phrase, a click on the url icon and a paste of the url in the box?

i would have to write javascript for that process. Won't be anytime soon. There might be a mod some where though.
