Thoughts On Osama And The Middle East
Thoughts On Osama And The Middle East
It occurs to me that the death of Osama comes at a fortuitous time; when Arab Spring is in the air, Osama was killed.
Serendipity? Was the death of this man whose ideals were antithetical to those of "Democracy" just a happy accident when there is talk of Democracy in the air all over the Arab world?
Thoughts?
And, now, back to sleep.
Goodnight

Brilliant.
Blessed are the poor in spirit, for they will see God.

It would be nice to think that freedom for more people was behind this but I don't give the GOV that much credit. At this point it is all about a few power players agenda.
Re: Thoughts On Osama And The Middle East
So, do you think they decided to do away with Osama at this time (Arab Spring) because of the rise in "Democratic" sentiment?

No, that's what I meant in the last post.
In the big picture it might hurt it...

Kill the guy and create a new wound bigger then any that may have healed.
Obviously you don't have blind faith in our system either.

If the system is run by people, no. There are some good people they're just surrounded by the not-so-good-people, the ignorant, naive and apathetic.
