But that's the odd thing. The early church fathers were always referring to who was martyred in the early days of Christianity. Stephen, James, and so on. There was no mention of Paul at all in their letters. Even the dude who wrote Acts makes no further mention of him. He just disappeared off the face of the earth. Which makes me think he pulled a houdini and escaped to the nether regions of the roman empire and lived out his days making tents and collecting money.

It does seem a little odd, come to think of it. I always figured it was because nobody gave a shit about the dumb fuck and were just relieved to be rid of him.
