I find the timeline idea interesting. Does physics support it? I'm interested in why individuals around the country dream of massive quakes and flooding in California. All this talk about a fiscal cliff is not cool.

It is probably beyond current understanding, if it is possible. People always envision things, whether or not based on reality. Quakes are a part of Cali geology so there will always be speculation.
