If dim sum is so good, why is it not called bright sum?

A bit limited out here. The closest thing is some Asians that operate a donut store. Donuts is not their strong suit.

Although the two characters separately mean "point/dot/small amount" and "heart," respectively, together they mean snack, refreshment or light pastry.
