Re: Mental Health Facilities...
Good work, Indy. I'm happy you had the courage to swallow your pride and get some help. Half the country is on some sort of psychotropic or other. You've got lots of company- with lots of success stories out there. The world is in a fucking mess and you're just another good man swept up in the maelstrom.
"But that's no more true than saying the universe is ineluctably bound to the Second Law of Thermodynamics. In the end it's all an entropic stew but in the meantime we got some serious livin' to do." Arthur Afterburn

Re: Mental Health Facilities...
Indiee I was chronically depressed about 5 years ago.
I know a fair bit about nutrition, and other herbs and cheap supplements that can make a BIG difference on your serotonin levels. Eat the right things and it comes flooding out. This is science, not myth.
No offence, but I bet your diet is shitty. Depressed people almost always eat bad. But if you bring it up, they get defensive and are all like "I DO eat well, I had a salad on Wednesday bleh bleh bleh." If yr depressed its best to totally change your diet for a few days and see what happens.
Anyway, if anyone else is interested, ---even if Indiee isn't---- I can talk about this in detail. This plan would work alongside your medication and would only cost about 5 bucks a day. It's worth a week long experiment.

CB, if you don't mind, I'd like to hear. Good knowledge.
Indiee, I'm proud of you, man.

Whatever, just do it quick and save us all. Ha. OK I'm typing up something now...
We have turned away from nature. A pharmaceutical product has one or two compounds in it. A fruit has a huge synergy of more than 10,000. But a strange mix of arrogance and sheeplikeness makes us believe that IG Farben and friends know best.
Paradise provides us with bananas, apples, oranges and strawberries and we stick our noses up at it, and run to the loving arms of Taco Bell and Pfizer.
It's our own stupid fricking fault.

Yeah, juicing is massively underestimated. Everything I mentioned above can be juiced.
Depression Smoothie:
5 mangos
4-5 pears
3 bananas
Optional:
Vit C
MSM
Wheatgrass
*
That'd buck anyone up. But do they listen?
