The folks suffering in the individual units that used to be sovereign countries are learning each day what our state citizens have known for 151 years, that a central government is inherently evil.

First it was their traditional local foods, then traditional goods such as Stockholm tar, a natural goo used in hair tonics, soaps, and especially in England, in boats. I use it in Grandpa's tar soap and in shampoo. England used more than all countries combined. It was imported from Sweden. EU rules prohibit Sweden from exporting the stuff to any EU nation, the the US can still get it. Why? Because it looks like creosote, and some dipshit in the EU Department of F**k Everybody was afraid of it.

Now the EU Department of F**k Everybody has outlawed traditional herbal remedies.

It's a matter of perspective. The small minds are in power. It boggles my mind.

Sure, but it does seem like the corrupt are more in power than at any other moment of my life. Not that that's saying all that much.
