Well I have this problem with the sun.... it's too bright!

I must've been a moleman in my previous life.

And another problem I have with the sun is when I walk out into it, my own inner sun starts acting up and it's all too damn bright I tell ya! You can only stare into the sun so long before you turn into a krisp kringle.

There's a magical place beyond the infinite and monotonous Lux where things like this aren't a problem.

Most of the archangels know I found it (or rather it found me) and they're jealous.

We need to get to work immedietly on this idea of maybe not destroying the sun, but perhaps making a giant sunglass sphere around its perimeter so we poor souls who wear prescription spectacles don't have to shell out another 200 dollars for a pair of oprescription shades which we'll probably lose and/or break anyway.

We'll poke holes in the north and south poles of the sphere to vent gasses and such, and also to let the space vehicles who use the sun as a stargate in and out.

This week's huge solar storm will benefit future astronauts, thanks to the rover Curiosity, now on its way to Mars. The rover is equipped with an instrument that measures the radiation exposure that could affect a human astronaut en route to the Red Planet. Scientists are just starting to pore over the data from the blast of particles. Don't worry about the poor robotic geologist, though: 'No harmful effects to the Mars Science Laboratory have been detected from this solar event,' says NASA.
