Man eats 25,000th Big Mac

Post by Pam » Sat May 21, 2011 9:13 pm

FOND DU LAC, Wis. -- Don Gorske ate his 25,000th Big Mac on Tuesday, the 39th anniversary of eating his first.

The 57-year-old Fond du Lac man said he ate nine on May 17, 1972 and has only missed nine days since. He typically eats two Big Macs per day.

He has kept most of the boxes or receipts or has made specific notes in calendars that he's kept.

Video at link as well.

I couldn't imagine eating the same thing every day for almost 40 years, let alone that food be from the Rat Line

I guess if this guy dies alone in his home one day, he will be well preserved (as demonstrated by Lex's McDonald's Happy Meal experiment) and if it takes another 39 years for someone to find him, he will look just like he did the day he died!

I almost felt sick just reading that.... two Big Mac's a day!!!!!!!!!!

It is my belief that the only reason McDonalds is so successful is because it is bland.

Go anywhere in the world, I have been told, it tastes exactly the same.

I would love to be a pickle farmer. All that money for something everybody takes off and throws on the floor LOL

Personal shameful disclosure and confession:

I love MacDonald's cheese burgers. I just do, so sue me. Hubby hates MacDonalds food, he just orders a coffee and sit there and look at me with horror as I eat the horrible, lovely stuff, and he always declares that this is the last time he will ever set foot in a MacDonalds. But once every couple of months or so I force him to take me there and satisfy my craving for the mmmmmmm....... cheeseburger.

And being the gentleman he is, he goes to the counter and orders the food for me. Last time he came back with a kiddie Happy Meal, he said I should have something appropriate for my mental age.

The toy was crap, but I liked the burger, hahahahaha!

It was a little animal figure, a sort of bear or panda, that sat in a little car that you could wind up. Of course I had to test it, hahahaha, but the car speeded across the table, crashed on the floor and broke.
