Massive list of resignations and arrests

Post by Happyslap Buddha » Thu Mar 15, 2012 11:15 pm

Do you guys got a thread on this?

Huge amounts of high level bankers (300+) at last count, are "resigning"

Goldman Sachs dealt a big blow yesterday.

The Ides of March are here.

Any idea of a reason?

Can't be fear of being arrested.

Banking House of cards collapse?

It's the Ides of March. Isn't that reason enough?

Much speculation as to why. The house of cards is falling indeed. Some of them are being arrested. There were 80 raids in Germany coupla weks ago.

You mean you ain't seen Goldman gate yesterday?

I saw the info of the GS exec quitting and his negative words toward the company.

I just hadn't looked into the bankers stuff. Seems nothing amounts to much anymore. They should be rich enough to retire forever but they will be driven to control someone else.

They're being forced to step down.

Greg Smith wiped 2 billion off GS's shares in a single day. Now we have revelations from Google and Morgan Stanley.

Not only that, but the media is reporting it widely... showing some signs that they're being freed up.

Being forced out means their work is done and money is to be saved instead of paying salary and bonus.

What do you mean? That they shouldn't get their bonuses?

The banks will save money in future years. Much like a company downsizing.

I will assume this is not the normal rate of resignation. :?

My friend in Europe believes there is this Euro crash going to happen. He believes in it so much, he's making plans to move to Australia.
