Pigeon, i moved from one part of the country where the winters were 'harsh' (-30 C / -10 F) to another part of the country where winters were more harsh (-35 to -45C / -31 to -49 F).
I thought I was going to die the first couple of winters.
...and I found out Wind Chill means something in a damp/cold environment.

Down here it doesn't get really cold but on the colder days, with damp and wind, it feels bad. I have heard northerners complain in the winter so it must mean something.
