I got close to the Korean couple that used to own the local neighbourhood store (before they sold it the local Korean owner).
Until, she confided in me...
that back in Korea she liked and ate dog meat.
I just never could feel the same warmth for her again. Even though I know it's cultural and all...
Hell, pigs are just as smart if not smarter than dogs and in this culture we eat them too (I don't).
She said the meat made her feel 'warm' inside and helped with sickness.
