In that image, left to right is short wavelength to longer. Usually we see a spectrum shown longer to shorter (red to blue). "roygbiv"

Mr Biv, sometimes referred to as Roy G., does not approve.

In 2019, no one really cares what Roy G. wants though.

A bit of trivia

Roy G. fell in love and said "Oh Be A Fine Girl Kiss Me Right Now Sweetheart". He was star struck.

Each "color" of light is a different frequency or wave length. Wave length is related to frequency and the higher the frequency the shorter the wavelength. Red is longer and blue is shorter. (and photon energy)

The range of wavelengths or frequencies for wave phenomena is called a spectrum. The name originated with the visible light spectrum but now can be applied to the entire electromagnetic spectrum.

ROYGBIV is a simple way (acronym) to remember some of the color table. red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet.

There is also a acronym for the spectral classes of stars. hotter to cooler. (There is that spectrum / spectral word again)

Natalie, a said to be movie star, is included due to the word "star" in her profession and use of her name here. (Natalie, What is your frequency)

\Time to change this flat tire and get the show back on the road.\
