We are conjoined to consider Roswell and Ken Arnold.

I can answer that question partially. So I heard from members of the Order Templi Orientis itself in my stint as a member, which technically I still am... L. Ron was actually a member of the OTO and when he left he took aspects of its supposedly "Higher Order" secrets for his own and used them in the construction of his Scientology religion.

Is the OTO and Crowley EVIL? Well I dunno, you'll have to decide for yourself. Personally, I think everyone there who actually has been a member for a long period of time... there's just something a bit... ingenuous and sketchy about their demeanor. There's a aire of... gross impurity... as if someone had wiped their ass with their hand and then shook your hand without telling you...

I feel tainted by the whole experience. It just felt dirty and animalistic... and the food was fucking terrible.
