Many years ago my little neighborhood gaggle would hang out behind Leo's on random January mornings, freezing our asses off, waiting for the occasional eruption of hot steam to engulf us and to warm us as we smoked cigarettes and exchanged saucy fantasies.

And every so often Leo would emerge from the back door- wiry Armenian with a mustache of Gurdjieffian bulk- and chase us away with a broom. Why I'll never understand. Except that he did have a couple of horny daughters. But they were also working on growing bigg staches. Go figure...
