Gibson Guitar Co Doomed

Post by Dr Exile » Fri Aug 26, 2011 2:50 pm

Like wooden music? It's over. Jack booted thugs from the Fish For Brains ans Wildlife Disservice raided Gibson Co over the use of wood.

They are now after your vintage guitars too. Nice police state we live in.

I think this is the link, Doc:

The other went to Apple and Steve Jobs.

Yeah, but this wood was from Madagascar, they compared it to blood diamonds.

Holy crap, we have two Les Pauls in our house and a Gibson ES (something or other)...... I better hide those suckers.

Who'd a thunk that musical instruments could be bad

In my estimation that's as bad as the Chinese making wine from tiger bones. Be aware and kind and you avoid the problem. Know what I mean?

We also have a Gibson banjo

Listen, I'm not the musician around here I can guarantee you that, I just enjoy listening to the music....

I was not aware even of the type of wood used to make them.

Thanks ME, that makes me feel better. I was thinking we might need to destroy our collection.

Between my husband and son we have four Gibsons including that Banjo plus a bunch of other ones Accoustics etc. In fact, you would think we are running a guitar store here.

How many damn guitars do they need anyway, you can only play one at a time ;)

Fuck. I need my Les Paul's neck replaced. I don't have money for a new neck AND a lawyer...
