Well OK. I think I answered my own question then. Breivik did not act alone but in complicity with the 80% of the planet who are pathologically amoral.

You think 80% of the planet is pathologically amoral? Even I think that's kind of high and I'm jaded.

Let's take a quick peek at the history of European politics for an answer to that conundrum. The Shoah comes to mind...

The highest count of that sort of thing I've ever read was one psychologist (maybe psychiatrist) who believed that one in twenty five people are sociopathic.

You're estimation is blowing that out of the water. But, I'll say this, it is far far higher than I ever imagined.

I'm not talking about sociopaths but rather apopaths. Those that are apathetic to the level of pathological amorality. It's a societal category of my own invention. Like it?

HAHA!!! Keep going. Can you explain how they differ from sociopaths. I thought sociopaths couldn't connect or empathize and had little to no guilt reflex. Thus, they can do and do do the bad things most of us think about but usually don't do.

Sociopaths run the trains to the kamps. Apopaths wave as they pass by.

Ok, I agree. The mass of humanity cannot summon forth the energy to care enough about their fellow man to do anything.
