Hahahah. He had none. That's why he figured the Party, the Vanguard, was required. Now don't get me wrong here. I do like many of the humans. They're often cute and sometimes kind. Even cuddly on occasion. And the Vanguards are Lumpen too. It's a real mess, I tell ya.

But the lumpen weren't 80% of the people. You've lumped in the prols and bourgeoise, etc with them.

At the risk of seeming to be a bit cynical, they're all Lumps in the end. A waste of protoplasm. Is there hope? Maybe that's all there really is...anyone who tells the truth tends to end up stapled to a tree.

This sort of cynicism seems like realism to me lately. I used to be more hopeful. Actually, that's not true, hope brings to mind the idea that you don't believe it is but could be. At one time, I thought there were more people worth the time than not. I think I was wrong.
