You are standing in an open field west of a white house, with a boarded front door. There is a small mailbox here.

You shift your eyes to check if anyone is around before approaching the mailbox. You open it, and inside is a large unmarked yellow envelope.

Despite reservations, curiosity get the best of you and your hand reaches for the envelope. Something, out of the corner of your right eye, grabs your attention. It's a mail truck driving down the road. You slip into the tree line to your left.

Hiding behind a large Ponderosa Pine, you peek around and spy the mail man as he is driving passed the mailbox and onto the next house down the road. Letting out a big sigh of relief, you turn your attention to the manila envelope in your hand. It has some weight to it, and the bump in the paper indicates that it is not only papers inside.

Seems odd that mail has been left for a house with a boarded up door. No address on the envelope. It must be a drop for someone.

Knowing well it is none of your business, you open the envelope anyway. Inside is a key, a map, two pieces of paper and a picture of a little girl. Based on the quality and colors of the picture and what the little girl is wearing, the picture is definitely several decades old. The map seems to be a hand drawn map of a small area. And, the key is an average brass key. You wonder if the key would open the door of the curious boarded up white house. The two papers....

One paper is a hardware store reciept for a key, dated 7-13-83, from Pine Gulch, NV. On the back is written, in pencil, BR-566.
