Dated a Texan for awhile...but I'm as far away from Texas as anyone could be.
My whole experience with the Texan can be summed up by a line from Steven Wright:

True. Yes. He was so gosh darn friendly that I think he was Native Texan. But he loved George Bush and that kind of threw a monkey wrench into the whole thing for me.
