Move To Amend

Motion to Amend
We, the People of the United States of America, reject the U.S. Supreme Court's ruling in Citizens United, and move to amend our Constitution to:
•Firmly establish that money is not speech, and that human beings, not corporations, are persons entitled to constitutional rights.
•Guarantee the right to vote and to participate, and to have our vote and participation count.
•Protect local communities, their economies, and democracies against illegitimate "preemption" actions by global, national, and state governments.

The unintended consequences of amendments are dangerous, be careful what you wish for.

I hear you. Seems like everything can and will be twisted, though. What we have no is not to my liking so I've got nothing to lose.

Rather than add another convoluted amendment why not defend the existing ones with the second amendment? That's what it is for.
Shoot the bastards.
Kill the bankers.
Kill Daddywarbucks.
Kill the judges.
There are lots of power poles, put them to use.

I'd prefer a peaceful solution. There are around 7 billion people in the world now. One day a spark will probably set off some horrible mass homicide all over the world. As jaded as I am, that's something I'd like to miss out on.

(And I don't like anybody very much!)
But we can be hopeful,
And thankful and proud,
Now we've been endowed with the mushroom shape cloud,
And we know for certain,
That some lucky day,
Someone will light the spark off,
And we will all be blown away.
