I bet they let it slide.

Of course, we do not know if it is even true. We have learned the government often tell us what they want us to hear, whether it is true or false.

Kerry urges Russian cooperation on Syria
Putin says Russia will oblige to maintain "stability" in war-torn country and announces meeting with Obama in June.
Last Modified: 07 May 2013 19:14

John Kerry, US secretary of state, has called Russian President Vladimir Putin to help find "common ground" over the conflict in Syria, saying the US and Russia had shared interests in the country. At the start of talks in the Kremlin on Tuesday, Kerry told Putin that efforts to end the two-year-old conflict that has killed more than 70,000 people in Syria are among issues on which the former Cold War foes can work together.

"The United States believes that we share some very significant common interests with respect to Syria - stability in the region, not having extremists creating problems throughout the region and elsewhere," Kerry said.

In response, Putin said his government has agreed "to cooperate in maintaining the stability" in Syria and make sure the country does not descend into further violence, Al Jazeera's David Chater, reporting from Moscow, said. He also reported that Putin announced that he will hold separate one-on-one talks with President Barack Obama at the G-8 Summit in Northern Island on June 16 and 17.

Both the US and Russia endorsed a plan for a political solution for Syria last June but have differed over how to implement it. Kerry said President Obama also believes Russia and the US could cooperate "significantly" on issues including North Korea, Iran and economic ties, which both sides said have not lived up to their potential.

1000+ Dead in Chemical Attack

Reporters have mentioned that if it was Sarin Gas, that it would also affect medical teams. The following video shows medical personnel telling how grim the situation is and how they have lost medical staff.

There seems to be two main arguments for who is at fault:

1) Assad forces did it.
2) Rebels did it for UN Intervention.

There should be other possibilities to be considered. For example, that such an attack can be carried out by an extreme element from Assad's regime that will eventually be pinned on rebels. They may have a fall team already in place to be blamed. Another explanation can be a third party attacker that depends on chaos in that region for financial gain (weapon sales) and/or military advantage. A third party can also test their weapons stockpile using the Syria crisis as cover.

Despite who is at fault, the situation must be dealt with by the international community to make new borders within the Syria region. If this is not the last attack, how many more will there be?

Pres Obama was talking big about chem weapon use there. We will see what he says about it, if anything. Then we will find out if anyone will try to intervene. I would bet on the UN. Wonder what the Russian statement / position will be.

Reuters reports on it.

Each side and power players use their standard commentary.

I have to admit the Russian argument makes some sense but then it still could be just a cover up.

NPR radio had a doctor from Syria do an update on the situation.

1,500 deceased
More deceased still in contaminated homes and bunkers
Total of 10,000 people effected including medical staff

He mentioned the weapon used had a higher concentration of sarin gas than other shells before. He explained one neighborhood was already hit with a lower concentration of sarin. This could provide evidence of a third party attack or different tactics being used.

Some news sites are reporting that Assad forces have stormed into the areas of the gas attacks. It would not help Assad's case if those reports are true.

Who do you believe any more. The CIA and other such groups know what is going on, which side did it. People sit around wondering, listening to various government's propaganda, all the while the truth is known.

What is this, the Manhatten Project. Really think it can be kept that secret if some rag tag group did it. And if there is some real lack of knowledge in the populous then a government must be behind it. We have to ask the average guy, not government and media.

The oil companies (seven sisters) have been working to control the mideast as needed for their benefit via proxy using the US government for more than half a century. He who controls the energy wields great power on our planet.
