Stars tonite

Post by Pigeon » Thu Dec 13, 2012 3:26 am

It's 40 degrees, low humidity, clear, no moon and stars are blazing out tonight.

Awesome.

Last time I was out, stunning turquoise shooting star.

Scary how they can correlate with thought.

Hence the idea of wishing upon a star.

I am out in nowhere but don't see all these odd things people often post. Guess they like to visit the city.

You need to wish upon a star.

Did see a really good meteor shower quite a few years back. We put a futon outside on a cold night and watched for hours.

Was this the night of your first abduction?

SLooping

Went out to look at the stars again and saw two meteors about two minutes apart.

THE GEMINID METEOR SHOWER IS UNDERWAY: International observers are counting as many as 50 meteors per hour as Earth plunges into a stream of debris from rock comet 3200 Phaethon. Rates could double, or more, when the shower peaks on Dec. 13th and 14th. The best time to look is during the dark hours before dawn on Thursday and Friday.

Same size I saw couple days ago.
