The other night I am asleep and dreaming of some strange stuff that doesn't make much sense. Surprise, huh.

Part of it has to do with a large tank being filled by some process. Then the dream moved on to something else.

Then there was a noise outside (I'm sure it was outside in the real world).

As this noise is waking me up, the second before I am awake, I flash back to the tank part of the dream and then wake up.

Never happened before. Seemed a really odd happening. Have you encountered this effect?

I have noticed a duality about wakefulness and the dreamworld. If you get full rest, and enough sleep, it will be harder to recall dreams but one is more aware. If you wakeup in the middle of the REM cycle, let's say, disturbed by a noise or an alarm clock, a person can remember more of their dreams, but more likely to remain in a hypnotic sleep state. This makes one wonder about the majority of working people.

Just briefly back in another part of the dream instead of waking up. It's like I woke up into a dream and then again to the normal world.

As if I moved horizontal through the dream awareness and vertical into the normal world as i awoke. Seemed really strange.

Maybe I wasn't suppose to leave the dream.

i have notice your very observation. i tend to sleep well and not remember dreams often. Only when I aware and then sleep a bit more do i remember.

Some time on Skype or such I'll give better details and my theories. Too much to try to write now.

Well maybe I need to do this one........Finish recording my album. Several people keep telling me I need to do this before I get too old. Really dont know if Ill ever do it. Not something Im planning on doing. Ill keep singing but probably not record an album. Would you do it?
