No, the Priest's union wouldn't allow for it. It's all there. It's Mosaic law and Jesus said he didn't come to overturn the law. It's a really sharp insight.

This just in from a flash to me by God himself! The who thing was pre-ordained, God sacrificed himself, so the sacrifice still works.

Meh.... if it was for his people wouldn't the people have to perform it? Or, if he were to sacrifice himself, wouldn't he have had to commit suicide?

Cuz I swear guys I don't like that look I get when all the priests realize that I, not that sheep over there, am the Lamb of God.

"Oh.... wait.... did I say "I AM the Truth? Uhhhh.... I meant..... John? John, why are you looking at me like that?"
Blessed are the poor in spirit, for they will see God.

If you want to understand god and sin you have to consider the Original Sin. If Jesus was the atonement for sin, knowing the true meaning of the Original Sin must be the critical element in the formation of your belief.

The gentiles were always included, just not in the Mosaic law. The whole "Chosen" thing just meant chosen to receive the law. The rest of the world had to follow the 7 Noadic laws.

And, the Hebrews were the last nation of the earth to be asked to receive the Torah. All the other nations turned it down, so the story goes. :D
