Week 12

Post by Pigeon » Fri Nov 22, 2013 1:39 am

Wonder if Houston will prevail over Jacksonville. They may be broken to the point of no more wins.

Whats your take.

Jacksonville's secondary is the worst in the league. Texans have been losing only by a few and with odd circumstances.

Keenum and Johnson should tear things up a bit.

Side Story: Tried to pick up Keenum in the Fantasy league, but was last in priority to pick him up. Was going to use him as a back-up to our starting.

Our opponent for the week picks him up, and plays him.

At half-time, our QB is at 4 pts (4pts from rushing yards, he was -4 yards passing), Keenum 8 pts.

By the end of both games, our QB 22 pts, Keenum 8 pts -taken out for Schaub?

Do you know what happened?

Don't know. I heard the name Schaub in the play by play and did a double take. They should have went with Case, do or die. You know his college record, he's pretty darn good. U of Houston. No team drafted him.

"Keenum is the NCAA's all-time leader in total passing yards, touchdowns, and completions. On October 22, 2011, Keenum became the Football Bowl Subdivision's all-time leader in total offense. On October 27, 2011, Keenum became the all-time leader in total touchdown passes by an FBS quarterback. During that game he threw for nine touchdowns and 534 yards.

He is the only quarterback in Division I FBS football history to have passed for more than 5,000 yards in each of three seasons."

From the post on week 11, looks like you are into college ball. Are you familiar with Tavon Austin?

He had a return for a TD, and two receiving TD's last week. This is a guy I think they may be holding back.

Fantasy owners think it was a fluke, and that St. Louis offense stays on Zac Stacy.

More NFL then college ball but I sometimes watch some of the games on Sat. It's nice to know the history leading up to the NFL.

Houston leads with a 9 game losing streak. Rumbling from the fans, who represent some of the income, about a new head coach.

Any win by touchdown in the last seconds of the game are pretty memorable. The game had 8 lead changes and drama between Rivers, the refs, and coaches on a call for "illegal receiver down field". It was a division game, so both teams played hard down to the last seconds.
