Week 13
Re: Week 13
Didn't see the game. But if the Mafia took heavy losses when he was in charge, maybe they get to him.
I was watching Philly take two knee's at the Arizona 3 yard line to run out the clock. Within 3 seems to be "preferable" if you haven't noticed.

Re: Week 13
He interfered with a run back on a kick. Pretty crappy for a coach.
Re: Week 13
What's with all these players now with III after their name. There are come in college and pros.
It's not just me...

Fact #1: Football jerseys have LAST names on them, not full names.
Fact #2: Your full name may be Robert Griffin III, but your LAST name is Griffin, not Griffin III. The use of "III" or "Jr." or similar suffix is ONLY appropriate when the FULL name is used. That is not only common sense, it is also something that can be easily researched and verified as to proper usage.
I suspect teams do this at the request of players who think they are being classy, but they're not. Or perhaps it started with Robert Griffin himself, whose "RG3" image is highly marketable and he wanted to capitalize on it. Now another member of his team has "Jr." on his jersey, Cecil Shorts has "III", and who knows how many others have already or soon will adopt this affectation.
They probably learned this trick at Burger King, home of the Whopper Jr. (no first name required).

Re: Week 13
Which one? I only know of one.
RGIII sucked last week. Definitely not a Rivers personality. He's playing his coaches game and hates it. I read on a site that they are trying to keep him in the pocket to throw as opposed to scrambling and throwing. Could be the result of last years injury.

Re: Week 13
I saw a couple of college players with III. So I saw at least 3 more this weekend.
Re: Week 13
It's an energy feeling thing. Each player trying to break out of the matrix of monotony.
"I feel like Robert Griffin".
"I feel like Robert Griffin".
Re: Week 13
The NFL mentioned that they might demote the ref who failed to call a penalty on Tomlin. Wonder what his problem was since he didn't call it.

What? Seems like I missed a good moment. I'm going to watch the highlights now.Pigeon wrote:The NFL mentioned that they might demote the ref who failed to call a penalty on Tomlin. Wonder what his problem was since he didn't call it.
