https://corporate.comcast.com/comcast-v ... neutrality

ALL big corporate providers are in favor of net-neutrality.

Just like bankers, they don' t like competition.

Did you know the funding for the bill to end net neutrality is public information?

Comcast is third behind AT&T and Verizon.

This debate is interesting. A google search for lobbyist data is proving difficult.

I think you opened up a good rabbit hole for me. I find the idea of "debunked lobbyist garbage data" a good conspiracy.

Fuck the FCC, and fuck net-neutrality.

Internet/Healthcare is a privilege and a service, not a right - not to be controlled by big brother.

Period.

6th plank: Centralization of the means of communication and transportation in the hands of the state.

In the U.S. - communication and transportation are controlled and regulated by the (FCC)...

[Established by the Communications Act of 1934, and the Department of Transportation, and the Interstate Commerce Commission (established by Congress in 1887), and the Federal Aviation Administration as well as Executive orders 11490, 10999 -- not to mention various state bureaucracies and regulations.]

There is also the federal postal monopoly, AMTRAK and CONRAIL -- outright socialist (government-owned) enterprises.

All of which are antithetical to free-market, private enterprise [capitalism] in these important industries.

Indeed, these fields in America have been semi-cartelized through the government's regulatory-industrial complex.

I think it is a business problem, not a Government problem.Kind of like Walmart or Starbucks lowering prices to bankrupt or buyout local business.

Communication and transportation are tied into security of the nation, and that's where a comfortable relationship is.

It's a language problem, mate.

What you have been taught about economics [just weights/measures] and "money" is all backwards.

"All the perplexities, confusion and distresses in America arise not from defects in the constitution or confederation, nor from want of honor or virtue, as much from downright ignorance of the nature of COIN, credit, and circulation"
