The SEDATIVES SPOKESWOMEN trotted out by the horse trainers claims no illegal use. Track claims no spokeswoman.

EVADER CODDLING has been going on too long at this track. And yes we are talking about repercussions toward trainers who are working outside of the rule book.

Igo Tabular, past president of the COW ACCOUNTANTS of Anita, said he has heard nothing about this track issue. When asked if his business dealt with track personnel, he stated "Horse track, of course not. Spend most of my business time with McDonalds and Burger King. I did see some track guys at McDonalds corporate on Wednesday."

"Cow Accountants of Anita" :) I'm glad I made a push for this thread.

Last time I heard from CAofA it was in an online Product review. A 2014 online tax program called "QUANTIFIER WISHYWASHY".

I used that product one time. Set me up for a large refund. It then said the tax man would think about sending me the money.

Mr. Ed, spokeshorse for the stable, when asked about training methods stated that most of the trainers were NEIGHED MODERATES at best.

A 24th horse dies at Santa Anita Park in California

A fatal shoulder injury has resulted in the death of the 24th racehorse at the famed Santa Anita Park in California.

The three-year-old horse, named Commander Coil, suffered the injury Friday in a gallop while training, according to a statement from Santa Anita Park's owner, the Stronach Group.

"Equine shoulder injuries are rare, especially for a horse that is galloping as opposed to breezing or racing. A comprehensive evaluation will be completed to understand what might have caused this uncommon injury," the statement said.

Most people connected with the park believe rain from Southern California's wettest winter in almost a decade has been a factor in the deaths.

It is the loss of lane not mud that is the risk. Ask the Derby folks.
