I think people don't know what's what - and how could they - I mean the masses. They take on religion and economics to find something to do.

Scarcity is indeed a con game but I believe the people want to be conned. It gives meaning to the nothingness. Follow?

What I'm trying to say is, nobody knows nothin'. Got me? And, because of that, all of these "false idols" are built to give people some sort of solace. Even the worst of them serve someone - and not just those running the scams, those who are taken. Capisce?

I think the big shake-up was the wide distribution of LSD during the 50s and 60s. Society has never really recovered from that. LSD was never meant to be a spiritual or philosophical tool for awakening. It was meant to erase/destroy minds, breed hopelessness, and make people obey authority.

Most people never recover from what is witnessed on LSD.
