The best part is that, rather than accept this evidence, they claimed that there must have been a confound (just coincidentally producing the exact result you would expect from a rotating Earth, I guess), so they repeated the experiment with the gyroscope in a Gauss chamber. Surprise, this showed the exact same result, but again, rather than be deterred, they go deeper, and at the time of the documentary were looking to build a bismuth case for the gyroscope to protect it from 'heaven energies'.
