While I understand what you're saying, I think people are harmed when they look around and see nothing in the bigger picture to place their trust in.

And, there's is one place where the trickle down theory actually works - corruption. When people look to their leaders and see corruption I think many of them figure they should get in the game, too.

I think some of you give people more credit that they deserve. People at some point in their lives look to others and emulate others. Some never stop. Pretty much everyone does it at some point.

When the world looks corrupt, expect more people to become corrupted.
