Which brings us back to the cops. It’d be wrong to paint every Uvalde officer with a broad brush, but the city’s police department has lots of explaining to do and so far, they’re failing that assignment. Videos have emerged of cops cuffing, tackling and otherwise restraining frantic parents while the shooter was still inside the school, alive.

The local police’s initial story that the shooter was initially “engaged” before making his way inside now appears to be a fabrication.

Texas police who responded to Tuesday's mass shooting at a Uvalde, Texas, elementary school wouldn't let a tactical squad of federal agents immediately go into the school to stop the gunman, two officials briefed on the situation told New York Times.

The officials told the Times that the Border Patrol and Immigration and Customs Enforcement tactical team was forced to wait nearly an hour before they went in and shot and killed the gunman, who massacred 19 children and two adults at Robb Elementary School.

These republicans in Texas want to own the libs and government so badly they let children be killed.

Police have faced widespread backlash for the delayed response to the incident, with experts telling Insider that "every second counts" during an active shooter situation, and police officers are generally trained to work quickly to engage and neutralize an active shooter.

A black man on the street is quickly neutralized on a weekly basis. Police prefer unarmed targets.

A mother gets handcuffed by police. She is then released, scales a fence and rescues her daughter. Uvalde, she should be the new police chief. There will be a new chief, right?

McCraw said the on-site commander, school district Police Chief Pete Arredondo, thought there was no longer a threat to the children inside, so he waited for nearly an hour to breach the room because the gunman had locked the door.

While a gunman was inside adjoining classrooms with children at a Texas elementary school Tuesday, a group of 19 law enforcement officers stood in a hallway outside and took no action as they waited for room keys and tactical equipment, a state official said Friday.

A couple of officers did go rescue their own children. Not my kid, sorry.

Should have given them a no knock warrant. That seems to always get them in and shooting people.

Abbott said the massacre “could have been worse”—had law enforcement not so bravely and effectively intervened.

Brave, yeah right, they waited outside for almost an hour before going in. Sorry seems some went in and got their own kids but left the rest to die.
