When asked about the "Taylor Swift effect" on sports and the NFL during a recent interview with Fox News, Dungy didn't hold back his opinion.
"That's the thing that's disenchanting people with sports now," the NFL Hall of Famer said. "There's so much on the outside coming in—entertainment value and different things taking away from what really happens on the field."
"If there is a reason for 'disenchantment' as Tony Dungy said it’s NFL putting Thursday night games and playoff games behind a paywall, awful broadcast crews who don’t research the teams they’re calling along with terrible officiating not Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce."
If Swift shouldn't be at a game, I imagine we can find a few 1000 more to "kick out". :)

I mean the helmet broke not his skull. You don't look at a severe car wreck where everyone lived but the vehicle was totaled and say, "What a piece of shit."

Well obviously. You don't want the thing that protects your head being completely impenetrable.

Sadly physics exists, and if the helmet doesn't flex or absorb energy, then the thing absorbing the energy is you. It's also why every car has substantial crumple zones. You want your car crumpling up to absorb the energy in a wreck, because otherwise you're the crumple zone.

Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson knows what he is up against in facing the defending Super Bowl champions, and made it clear to reporters on Wednesday that he isn’t taking the matchup against the reigning MVP’s hot squad for granted.

“I don’t like competing against [Patrick Mahomes] at all,” Jackson said with a laugh. “But yes, he’s a great quarterback. [He’s] definitely a Hall of Famer. It’s a no-brainer; he’s definitely a Hall of Famer. But I believe [it’s] just two greats – up-and-coming greats – just going toe to toe, like a heavyweight fight [and] heavyweight matchup. That’s just what I see.”

Gives the edge to Mahomes in the mind game portion.

He's also up against the Swifties, who the NFL may want viewing the super bowl and watching commercials.

I wonder how long the Swift-Kelce thing lasts.
